Back when I was 15 yrs old when Discmans were the shit and the only way you could afford a CD single was if you got a job or if you gave blowjobs - we used to trade CDs. This was particularly tough since my collection consisted of Celine Dion and NSync and none of the cool kids wanted to swap their Rap CDs with me. I finally persuaded one of the guys to come out of the closet and part with their 2pac single which contained “California Love”, “How do U want it”, “2 of America's Amerikaz Most wanted” and “Hit Em Up”. I instantly became a fan from the first "Westsiideeeee" to the final gunshot sound. There were just some emotions a 15yr old growing his first nut hair was going through that Celine Dion just couldn’t express in song. When I asked my friend if 2pac was going to do a concert anytime soon or when his new album will be released he just stared at me and then burst out laughing. At this point 2pac had been killed almost a year earlier and the internet wasnt invented for porn yet so news travelled at the speed of a XXL magazine.

The same happened when I was wondering who Christopher Wallace was at the end of the Puff Daddy "I'll be missing you" video clip only to catch the "Mo money mo problems" music video clip weeks later and thinking "Man this dude needs to lose weight or hes gonna die young."

Big Pun I only discovered by accidentally downloading "Still not a Playa" instead of Joe's version on Napster. RIP Napster. Oh and Big Pun. It's a surprise I even became a professional RnB/Hip Hop DJ for over 10yrs now cos I was always the last to jump on the latest thing. Its probably why people give me props for my Ol Skool sets when really I thought R Kelly -"Ignition" just dropped.

I drop a YOLO here there, I'm still trying to catch Pikachu on my phone and I only changed the Crazy Frog ringtone on my Nokia 3210 a few weeks ago. Hell I'm sporting a man bun that was inspired by Steven Seagal. Like I'm literally spinning a fidget spinner as I write this and it hasn't been cool for a minute. Shiet I think even saying "for a minute" hasn't been cool.....err for a minute. I was still paying hitmen I found off Gumtree using PayPal when I heard Silk Road closed down. All this time I thought it was a street that sold textiles.

You get the point. So when I found out about Steemit which looks like a Reddit ripoff where you can be tipped like a stripper with Daddy issues just by giving literary lapdances - I was all in. I know Steemit has been around for over a year now but in terms of people knowing about it, I still think Im early to this party. So greetings everyone and lets see where this adventure takes me. Luckily CD singles are only 99c these days so hopefully I get tipped enough to afford one. Or else I'll have to give 2 BJs to afford the latest Post Malone track.
