Introduction to Myself… Destiny to Write Blog Post

  Hello my dear STEEMIANS!  

It took me days to start thinking and making this blog for Steemit. I have the second thought if I am going to push it, maybe I am destined and ‘tadhana’ brought me here. One more thing, curiosity and eagerness dictates me into writing. I know, not all people are interested in making compositions. Well, if you will try, I am sure you will love it too.

     Aside talking about my interest here, I am wondering why my friends who applied from Steemit took months to get approved? But lucky I am, my first application took only three days. Since I am not more into careful directions, I didn’t make it to save the password..oh.. carelessness, my big mistake haha.. Then, I was worried, so I did the second try and thank God, only two days waiting and I pursue again. YES! Yes! I did it! So excited to start thinking and feeling that my mind was almost occupied of so many thoughts to bring up. 

    Who can tell that this girl who’s only dreaming to write like this can be a part of Steemit now? To tell you my dear Steemians, I only write an ‘excuse letter’ in school of my children, authorization letters and magical love letters that sometimes can go to more realistic and colorful reflections or ideas to complete a piece. They said that what you are doing is really the true of you. Do you agree my Steemians? 

     Yes, a determined writer in time did agree to it. Let’s see.. goodluck to me. Go, go girl to write, a big break and blessing from above to have this opportunity.

     So now, I want to share with you who I am as part of the Steemit traditional “Introducing Myself”. My name is Merlyn Bravo Caraig. I am from Lipa City, Batangas, my hometown. But I stayed more than half of my life in Manila. Makati City may be the last city to stay haha… so many cities actually I tried to live but now Makati is well - loved by my family. It’s not because of the high buildings and commercial operations we all know but the comfort of my children being near to school. By the way, I have two daughters Katie and Jadie.      I finished AB Mass Communication major in Broadcast at Centro Escolar University, Manila. I love this course so much that I used to be a part of Broadcasting industry for 6 years. DWAN radio-IBC 13, my first mentor in writing but in news rather. I remember, I have some pictures of it to treasure.. looking some more “alaala and gunita”    

    Here we go, up close and personal, as I impart, I have my own family now and I am from a big family of ten. I have seven siblings, two brothers and five sisters. It is just easy to say that you’re okay but sometimes, you can’t resist but hurt if you hear once or twice or many times that among my sisters? I am the so called “the weakest link” It hurts right my STEEMIANS?, hiding inside myself. I don’t know if I believe in it. I don’t know how they measure the power and potentials of each and everyone. I am aware that every individual is unique in many ways. I ask myself? How could that be me? I’ll ask my dear Destiny.. Here are my four sisters but the eldest  ate Mel is not here, she’s abroad and my mother of course. 

    “Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s the prettiest of them all?” I will let you pick the fairest. Who said my mother? Haha..      

    Talent? No at all really! Cooking? Well, it’s my weakness. My greatest failure daw! I cannot sing good in videoke, but you know? I love singing and to tell you more? From my grade level, I used to be a choir member in church. Is it wow? Then near to college until I reached my work in the Department of Education – Central office, still a choir member. Now, only listening enjoy my ear.

    Before I run and close my “intro me” I want to say, thank you to all of you who share reading my blog, my introduction. Your time is indeed appreciated.  My deep thanks to Ms. Shane Ilagan for the support and motivation to make my first blog complete.
