I lived in Hawaii many years ago. Only visited the big island once. Very quiet and peaceful.

    Did you go to Puna side then? It can be quiet and peaceful with the ocean breeze and chirping birds but also extreme with battling elements like lava, lightning, and tsunami!

      I can't remember where all I went. I was up at PTA. But we went down both sides of the saddle. And also up to the top of Mauna Kea.
