Background

I was born in the Philippines in June of 1990 so i am 27yrs old right now. Ethnically i’m half Portuguese half Filipino but i have American citizenship. I grew up in a small city in the San Joaquin Valley of Northern California. I graduated high school in 2008 and had an interest in just about anything sciency. Chemistry was always my favorite subject i’m not sure exactly why, maybe its because i like pretending to be a mad scientist or maybe its because my teacher was hot and i had a bit of a schoolboy crush on her but i guess ill never know. Mrs. Woody(yes i know pretty ironic name but i shit u not that was her real name) was one of my favorite teachers in high school. Her class was usually fun and i guess thats pretty much what got me into wanting to become a pharmacist.

Fun Fact i went to high school with Colin Kaepernick but i never really hung out with the guy he graduated a couple yrs before i did.

P.S. I don’t give a shit if you love him or hate him so please spare me the political bullshit in the comment section.

College years

College was super fun but it was during this time that my life started to take a turn for the worst. In my early college years i spent a little too much time partying and somehow got addicted to heroin. I usually don’t like telling people about this but the steemit community seems openminded and welcoming so i guess i’ll lay it all out on the table. Plus i stopped giving a fuck what other people think except for a small circle of people. Anyhoozies After a few yrs of addiction and a brief period being homeless i finally got sick of that life and said to myself “fuck your pride ask for help”. So i decided to call my mom and ask her if she would front me the money for this unorthodox form of addiction treatment they have in Canada. She agreed as long as i also got a plane ticket to the Philippines and didn’t come back until i finished college or paid her back the money i owed her. (Side note the Ibogaine treatment worked wonderfully and I’ll probably write a post about how amazing that experience was)

In the Philippines

I didn’t end up finishing college like my mom wanted. I realized that if i became a pharmacist it would be too much like being a kid in a candy store so i dropped out of college for a second time. I eventually found some work here in the Philippines and decided to get dual citizenship. After i got dual i was able to save up some money and open a cafe. I never would have thought i’d be in the situation i’m in right now and i’m grateful to my mom for helping me put my life back together. I owe her a significant life debt and i’ll never forget that.

Things I'm Into

Alright so enough with all this serious stuff. Thing’s that i’m into are pretty nerdy for the most part. Basically if it’s any type of Rick and Morty type science stuff I'm most likely into it. Also I love the new advancements coming from the EcoTech sector so if it has to do with saving the earth I'm most likely into it. As a hobby i enjoy growing plants and mushrooms. I love Nature and Traveling. I’ve only been to a few countries so far (Canada, Mexico, Germany, Korea and the Philippines) but I plan on traveling more in the future. I also like to geek out on any type of Future technology. Drones, Computers, Electronics etc etc. And recently I've been getting into cryptocurrencies. I love the whole Decentralized nature of cryptos. It’s been too long that the world has been under the thumb of the central bankers and I'm glad theres a new technology that’s rising up to challenge them. My hope is that bitcoin and other cryptos take down the FED and all the other Rothschild central banks around the world. We need a more democratized monetary system but first we have to get rid of the current one.

Goals for the future

As i said earlier i used to be an addict so i feel like it’s my purpose in life to help out other addicts. I love Ibogaine and wish it was legal in the U.S. but it never will be. It would be awesome if the pharmaceutical companies would help with this issue but curing addiction isn’t in their best interest so i doubt we will get much help from them. That is why i want to open a Dietary Supplement Company. From what i understand from the laws that govern the industry as long as it fits certain criteria and is not an antibiotic or biologic and not on the DEAs banned substances list it’s fair game. However i’m not a lawyer so i’d have to get confirmation before i invest in such a business (If you are a lawyer that knows about the DSHEA and NLEA laws and can clarify i’d love to hear about it). There is an analogue of ibogaine that fits this criteria and doesn't have the psychedelic effects of ibogaine or the cardio toxicity problems but retains all the anti addictive properties. The cool thing is the tree that this analogue is extracted from is not just native to Africa but also to the Philippines and thats where I'm at currently. I feel like its my purpose to bring a product to market that can help addicts out. But again I'm not a lawyer and it might not be completely legal if it is subject to scrutiny by the analogue act. If its not legal to sell in the states i feel like I'll still go through with it though. I’ll just have to sell it to countries that already allow ibogaine for addiction like Canada, Mexico or Thailand. Hopefully i will get to help these people but if I can’t do it this way i’ll just have to find another.
