Hello from Chicago, Illinois! Why I entered CRYPTOCURRENCY?!

Hi everyone! My name is Adam and I am a 21 year old from Chicago, Illinois. I have read many introduction posts on Steemit and wow what a large number of positive people.

A little bit about myself, I am currently a senior in college with the major in Finance. Although I am a big believer that you don't need to get your education to become successful, I still think that getting your education is priceless and creates a good backup option. I also believe that picking the right major and getting the most out of your major is more important then "just going to college".

A huge hobby of mine is that I love to workout, (I actually compete in the sport of powerlifting). Working out has become a huge part of my daily life and I continue to try and get better at it.

My sophomore year of college I honestly thought I was wasting my time going to school because of how motivated I am as an entrepreneur. I came across a Juice Bar business idea and I decided to follow through with the business idea. I opened a fitness Juice bar cafe that was located inside of a gym and I also did not want to waste the two years I went to school for. So I decided to open the cafe and still go to school at the same time. It was very tough to handle both at the same time but I still managed to do it because I always believe that if you want something bad enough it is possible. The reason I decided to enter this space was because it was a low capital investment so I decided to take the risk. As with any business, there is always a risk but trying your best to make the risk less and less is the goal.

Unfortunately the business did not work out and did not make sense to keep it open. So I decided to close it. Opening this Juice bar was a huge learning experience and I am so grateful for what I learned. Learning from this mistake was very beneficial to me as it opened my eyes to not always think just because you did your research, just because you put in 110% effort, and just because you wanted it to work does not mean that it will be successful. Any business has risk and if you fail once learn from that mistake, but do not ever make that same mistake thinking that it will work the second time. I am so grateful for also staying in school because if I did drop out of college and stick to my Juice Bar business idea then I would have put myself behind if I wanted to go back to school. Like I said earlier in this post, I believe education is priceless and you might need your degree one day.

Why did I choose to enter Cryptocurrency? I am really excited about the future of Crypto, and I truly believe that as the world is improving in technology Cryptocurrency will just keep growing and growing. I entered investing in Cryptocurrency not "to get rich" because I think that mentality will set you up for failure and force you to make negative decisions trading Crypto. I am investing Crypto as a long term investment. Always ask yourself "Where will I be financially in 5, 10, 20, 30 years?" I am trying to create successful investments that will help support me for the rest of my life, that way a person can get closer to financial freedom.

I have been researching Cryptocurrency for quite a bit now and decided to invest in it, although I don't have anywhere close to a large investment I am very optimistic with the more I learn about Cryptocurrency.
