Hello, hi, how are yah? I am Crypto Phunk and I believe I have found the perfect place to put my thoughts, which may be the same reason you're on here too. You may have already attributed the fact that I am a big fan of freedom and anonymity, hence the username and withholding of my name. A big aspect of my life involves computers, but my quest is to learn how to live the best possible life.

This has opened up my world to a plethora of experiences like hitchhiking, being in nature, spiritual connectedness and the flow-state of art.

My goal is to explore these topics of healthy, intentional living with a community and to expand my knowledge with others. But above all I would like to leave Steemit, and it's users better than I found it. The thought of participating in the exchanging of ideas on a decentralized blockchain is the stuff of sci-fi, how could I miss out on an opportunity like that?

Some of my previous attempts at finding peace and happiness with my everyday life has including living in the mountains, hitchhiking, working of family farms, drop shipping, dropping acid, dropping worries, bitcoin mining and freelancing; No one lifestyle has solved the answer but all have a piece of the puzzle.

Bitcoin, Sacrifice, and the Power of Patience

Rewinding back to 2012 I decided I wasn't going to use my money to go into university but that I would start bitcoin mining. This was my first major financial success and failure. By 2013 myself and 3 others had accumulated over 120 gfx and was renting an old chicken warehouse farm for industrial power. Unfortunately my younger self did not see the future potential of bitcoin and spent a large portion of it.

It's fun to live fancy but it never lasts. You end up a jackass, a beast of burden.

Luckily I did have enough foresight to create a cold storage wallet and have been investing in other currencies since then, with some success.

Nature, Silence and Sufficiency.

By this time of my life, I wanted a change of pace from city life. I decided to move to the Rockies. This was quite a contrast in lifestyle from the every day bustle of city life, to the calm and welcoming spirits of the Rockies. I have fond memories walking in the early morning to attend my job as a baker. Walking through clouds on my way to work was both exhilarating and a workout. There was a sense of synchronicity of what I was doing and the fulfillment of meaning. I was cooking for myself more, growing plants, collecting mushrooms, getting my hands on any art form I could find.

Things were going well but my place of work was starting to strike and I sensed this as the cue to leave. I sold my car and decided to walk. I walked for 6 months across my country, working on farms for food and making change with a uke. This was an amazing time of my life that I do not think I can do justice in describing to you in a little introduction. From near death experiences to complete social isolation and intense joy with strangers. It's a journey I won't forget.

Closing

I wanted to keep my interests a bit open ended for my introduction as I'm always learning and always transforming my thoughts. It's with my hope and intention that through my writing I can find like minded people to collaborate to aim for the highest possible good. In what area, I'm not sure yet, but I'm exited to get the ball rolling here on Steemit.

If you're like me and have ended up on Steemit to to connect to a community and have an interest in these any of these topics please, feel free to leave a comment and maybe one experience that has change you!
