Hi! I'm D-S-Black, and I write. As simple as that, I enjoy writing. Of course, art fits there too, holds quite a large part of my hobbies, actually, but writing is something I decided to start out for the public. Fairly new to sharing my works with other people. Usually it's along the lines of short stories or books. Sometimes poetry.
One of the main reasons, I love writing, is it provides an escape. But that's not it.
There are thousands and thousands and thousands (I think you get my point by now, there are a lot), of words in the English language. A writer, can pick any word from those, however many there are, and create a sentence. Create a paragraph, a chapter, a book. A whole different world. All from their minds.
Any word, to make those famous lines, everyone can quote.
I find it extraordinary, to be able to write something from scratch, create another universe that you can share with others, a universe close to your heart.
