The Netflix-only thing... many households now take this route and cultivate a no-screen practice. Recent study shows that children in such homes are exposed to -230 hours of advertising a year compared to others. Now consider that the alternative is a constant subjugation to advertising is the equivalent of Chinese water torture... you don't even realize what's happening to your brain... to the point when watch 'normal' television a WTF/turn-it-off recation results.
Take a three week no-screen vacation and gauge your reaction upon return.
