Preparation of my sculpture "Mystic" 2 part- Mold

Hello again, dear readers!

Welcome to the 2nd part of the elaboration of my sculpture in cement.

Continuing with the above, once ready the modeling in clay, we proceed to make the mold in plaster, for this, I divided my piece into 2 parts since it was an easy sculpture.

With the help of something pointing I made a line for half the piece

and I also proceeded to place a border with the same clay so that the plaster could be maintained.

Followed by that I put pieces of "Acetate" this will help me to give it the thickness and it will help me to find the line and then open the mold.

Then grease the piece so that the plaster does not stick to this is important that the clay is not dry if not wet.

In my case I used "margarine o butter " if to make cakes haha :) you can also use Vaseline

Then I began to give the layers of plaster, the first had to be a thin layer of plaster, the next thicker.

and make sure I had the same thickness everywhere

Once ready and dry, it was time to OPEN THE MOLD <3

As I said before, the acetates would help me open the mold.
I had to scrape to get the line.

With the help of 2 metal spatulas, help me to take off the pieces.

Until the pieces came out

Then soak and clean, remove all excess clay.
