Who is Dapper Dad Club?

Where has Dapper Dad been lately? Why haven’t I been posting? All questions I have continually asked myself time and time again the past two months.

Dapper Dad Club proved to be the culmination of my many ventures over the years. A place where all my ideas finally came together and answered the question I had been asking myself. Who am I? I’ve tried to turn many different hobbies into ventures, as the years have passed, and time and time again it seemed as though I just couldn’t find enough passion in the hobby to push over the pivotal venture cliff.

About two months ago, I felt like I was heading down the right path by generating over 2000 page views in the first 4 weeks of Dapper Dad Club, and then, all of a sudden, I came to a point of what felt to be a creative panic! I was feeling inspired, yet uninspired! Scared because the possibilities seemed endless to what I could do. But where exactly did I want to take this platform? Then, about 3 weeks ago, it hit me! Why do I keep trying to limit myself to a specific genre or feeling of an era?

For those that don’t know me, I have many likes. I am a huge fan of the historical gentlemanly figure, think 1950’s suited man with a finely trimmed beard, cigar in hand, tilted fedora, and opening the car door for his lady. I enjoy a great glass of whiskey, or whisky, no judging here, but also the crisp taste of a fine brew. I am a fan of literature, and love to get lost in a great book or article. I find that there is a personal relationship between an individual, their pen, and paper. To counter that, I have recently discovered that I am a huge fan of vlogging and the art of video editing. I love health and wellness, travel, understanding different cultures, and seeing the world through others eyes. I love my son, and being a father! I have discovered the form of friendship, and love, this year, that I never thought I could find, and damn does it feel amazing to have that!

All of this to say, the click that happened, has led to me this. I can take this wherever my mind takes it! The possibilities are endless, and I’m excited to see where it goes! This is why little experiment to bring together all of my interests and share them with you all. I’ve started a YouTube channel, and come to the realization that I can creatively be me and not tie myself to one certain thing. I’ve begun writing in ways that I never thought I could achieve, which means many many more posts to share with you!
