Hello everyone, my name is Dee Nighthawk and I'm so happy about finally making it to the Steemit site. This is such an exciting format, a place to share, absorb, learn and make money as well. I'm from Colorado, a Native American, my main tribes are, Cheyenne and Cherokee, but I am also part Shawnee, Algonquin, and Choctaw. I'm a musician, I started singing at five and will never stop, I'm also an artist, and a writer. For a few years now I have been writing about the actual history of Natives, and not the lies we were taught in school, and in many cases the history taught today, is even worse than it was before. I have been asked by my Elders to write our history, so that is one of my main goals in the near future. This is Lake Loveland looking towards the Front Range in Loveland, Colorado. Growing up in Colorado I spent a lot of time in the mountains, it's a very spiritual place to be, away from the noise of the world.
