Diary of a Steemit Newbie

Not a good writer.

That's probably the best phrase to describe this steemit newbie.

I'm bonbon from Las Islas Filipinas, a young democracy that has been continually proving its worth to the world... from the likes of Manny Pacquiao to Extra-judicial killings.

Some may find this irrelevant, but I grew up in a third world country where people are striving and starving to live. In the lowest strata of society, most families earn a dollar or two on a daily basis.. Just enough for a middle-class man like me to have a semi-complete meal in mcdonalds.

In all honesty, I created a steemit account to earn a few extra bucks and improve my writing skills. My succeeding posts will also serve as an outlet of my passions, frustrations, anguish towards society, and anything under the sun.

Currently, I am involved in a government agency that trains and educates uniformed personnel.

My expectations as a newbie Steemian:

1. Veteran Steemian peeps: your guidance and feedback are greatly appreciated.
2. I want to be involved with steemit groups that advocates human equity and alleviation of global poverty
3. Make a circle of steemian friends whom I can share ideas with
4. Be a more productive and useful citizen of the world by reading posts and comments from my fellow steemians

I don't expect a warm welcome from all steemians.. but please do continue supporting this social media platform for it has the potential to transform lives and become a revolutionary source of information.
