I joined about a week ago and still have no idea of how to get a profile and cover image uploaded. It's asking for URLs. Huh? Tried that too but nothing turns up visible.
Can anybody help with a brief understandable explanation please?

You will need to Google a site that converts images to links. You upload your image there, it'll spit a link. You copy it and upload. I also had problems but finally managed.

Hi @diggedag. You will need to make your banner image first, then upload it to a webserver so it can have a direct URL. Then you simply paste that in. So, for example, if you have a wordpress site (which you can get for free) you can simply upload to the media section. If you don't know how to do that, let me know and I will host it for you on my website (which is where my banner is pulled from). Hope that helps.
