Hi
Djime here, we are a live experimental electronic duo specializing in music for moving bodies and minds. In the fall of 2017 we recorded a series of live sessions for our first full length album release entitled "Octopus Dreams". Our style is swelling guitar builds with high energy synthesizer leads, deep driving bass with thick layered distortions, mangled drum machine percussion, and live breakbeat jazz drumming.
This project begins with studio sampling, our process starts with writing and recording a full length song then slicing each individual element into manageable sized loops. Despite being recorded ahead of time samples are not rigid but in fact are actually quite flexible, so when combined with high energy jazz influenced drumming each of our songs plays out as a unique version of itself. We're trying to take you places when you listen!
