Introduction

Wow... where do I begin?

Well, first of all, as my description says, I'm a big-time videogamer. Pretty much anything videogame related is my forte in some way, shape, or form. I'm a big fan of the classics, starting from the Atari 2600 all the way up to what I'm mostly playing on now: a gaming PC (although I have a PS4 and am looking forward to the PS5). I still play the classics on emulators I have on my PC, and my favorite game of all time is probably Counter-Strike 1.6 (CS1.6). I still play it's latest successor, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), on a regular basis.

I'm a big technology enthusiast. I've most recently looked into clean(er) energy sources, such as Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactors (LFTR) and fusion reactors, but pretty much any new type of technology interests me. This includes quantum computing, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and cyber defense.

I also have an interest in music theory and production. I don't write my own music, but I like to make instrumental covers of songs that I like. My tastes mostly hover around rock music or some variant of it.

As for what this channel will be about, I don't want to pigeon-hole it into just one of these things. It's basically going to be a little bit of everything; pretty much anything that interests me, and subsequently you. I want to put things together to give a very journalistic/editorial kind of vibe about everything I present, so you'll get a very objective approach followed by snippets of how I interpret the information. I want to encourage discussion from all of you, and I appreciate any comments or suggestions you have for me.

I'll mostly do blog entries, but I'll also do vlog entries as well on dtube time permitting.

I guess that's pretty much it for now. Stay tuned!

EDIT: P.S. For my articles/blog entries, I want to cite sources, but apparently the citing function in Steemit is broken. :(
