Hello steemit. I am drpuffnstuff, thank you for having me! This is my proper introduction!

I like many other users. Came on here, and botched my first few posts. I didn't know what I wanted to blog about here. I was horrible at formatting everything. I didn't know anyone at that point so there wasn't many people who even looked. This is my attempt at a proper introduction.

I found steemit quite randomly. I looked up steem, and decided it was a good coin to buy. There were things being built off of it and it had what seemed to be a great proof of use. I bought steem on poloniex and thought. Then I thought now what do I do with it, do I stake it? What wallet do I put it in? After some looking around I found this place. Steemit. I spent a day looking around, watching videos how it all works. Came straight in and said hello. Moved over my investment from poloniex and powered it up!

The wallet is super easy to use, I feel like its my most secure crypto investment i have currently! I don't worry about my money in my account here, I worry about my money on poloniex constantly, and I worry about my bitconnect investment daily. But, I sleep easy trusting my steemit account/wallet!

On other social media platforms I hardly posted anything. I would just answer question my friends had, try to clear there misconceptions when they had them, and my only 2 posts in the last 5 months was 1 telling everyone they should buy bitcoins and to get ahold of me if they were interested. Then next was me telling everyone they should have bought bitcoin and that its not too late.. That was 3 weeks ago. I have been on steemit for 3 weeks now! Now I think facebook what? Or reddit who? I have hardly stepped a virtual foot into either site since!

My interest are so broad that is hard to pinpoint my few favorites. Ive skateboarded and played video games since I was a kid. So those 2 things hold a special place in my heart. I live in the mountains so I hike, camp, repel, and ride dirt bikes a lot as well.. All extreme sports interest me and I want to try them all someday. Sky diving is on my list to try soon! I read as much as I can. I like epic fantasies or good fiction the most. R Scott Bakker, GRRM, Haruki Murakami, Hunter S thompson are just a few of my favorites. I like futurology, science, archeology, and history (even math recently). And I have a love/hate relationship with politics and religion. I'm also a big marijuana legalization activist. So the things that I might post about are very random and spread out across all the tags :) .

In my first 3 weeks here, aside from commenting a lot and meeting too many awesome people name here. I have posted mostly stuff about the tips I've learned being on steemit. I want to help everyone else adapt to this place faster than I did if possible! Some examples of these posts are here...

I did a #steemgig and met all the really cool people behind that. Its like a steemit user community outreach program. I want t do good things for people in the name of steemit! I want to pay others to do the same! I would rather pay someone from steemit to do something for me/us than hire someone somewhere else!

I am hoping to help steemit grow, and I'm willing to pay it forward. Giving out all the SBD's I've made in my first few weeks back to other steem users. First to the few who will make me bookmarks. And then I have a bigger #steemgig in mind which might leave me buying some SBD's on poloniex. In order to pay a fellow steemian to spread charity in the name of steemit! Spending time answering questions when I see them, posting things that might help new users. And adding more and more good content to steemit on the subjects I care about!
