5 Steps To Increase Your SteemIt Reputation Score

I'm @earn-online and I got involved with Steem like many of you aiming to be a part of a growing community that actually posts worthwhile content as well as pays their members for doing so. Again like many of you I quickly noticed how gaining proper attention and reputation is a major key to making a profit from your posts. Which is why I thought of a few ways to increase both attention and reputation I want to share with you all.

-1- Producing High-Quality Content!

Building a high reputation on steem is like everything else in life, you can't get it for free, you've got to earn it. So by focusing on posting articles that are the highest quality you can produce you will build a trust between you and your up-voters who will be more likely to follow you and up-vote your next article too.

-2- Consistency!

Being consistent and active on your profile is key. Some people will only post every few weeks or even months if they have a specific following that goes nuts when they post. Others need to post multiple times per day to maintain their following and neither one is wrong, it's all about your personal style and type of content audience you're going after. Whatever your strategy be consistent with it. Quality is more important than quantity, So investing time on one post is better than wasting a bunch of time on a lot of posts.

-3- Invite Your Following!

One of the most underrated methods of gaining reputation is by bringing your current following from youtube, facebook, personal blogs, twitter, or even Reddit! Posting your Steemit posts to anywhere besides just Steemit increases your audience and possibly attracts new followers at the same time.

-4- Timing!

Publishing a post at the wrong time can be just as ineffective as posting crappy content. You don't want to post during peak hours seeing as you'll have the steem whales collecting most of the attention, at the same time posting while nobody is online won't net you any profits either. For new steemers posting midday and just before rush hour should be your target times.

-5- Commenting!

DON'T UNDERESTIMATE COMMENTS. By commenting on popular posts by bigger steemit names you'll add more visibility to your profile and by replying to comments made on your post you interact with your followers showing there is a real person behind the keys worth supporting.
