In a way, this platform, for what it offers and what it means and by that i mean a platform, not a website, nor for social and entertainment purposes such as FB, Youtube, Twitter etc, but as a platform to integrate all those in one, and also providing users with ideas which can go beyond profitting, but also to find intelligent topics, have debates and to enjoy.
I think people are just starting to realise that Steemit is becoming more than people thought it would be in the beginning.

You're spot on there. It has more of an online community feel to it, where users are able to freely interact without a lot of the garbage other platforms have.

I wouldn't say garbage, but the way it's been used and the purpose of it has shifted to being a mass tool for dumbing down of the future generations, even though the older generations have been impacted by it too.
