I think people see the Yorkshire accent as being far more endearing than Brummie so you're safe! Haha. My partner has a brummie accent and sadly, I still struggle to understand him sometimes lol.

    I dated a Brummie once. I struggled to understand him too (but it was nothing to do with the accent lol)
