I didn't even realise you can downvote comments? Sounds to me like a cardinal sin!

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    It was originally introduced to combat spam, but the spammers can downvote too.

    Btw, don't upvote your comments unless you REALLY want them to get seen, it drains your voting power significantly!
