Whoop Whoop...Evelyn from Nigeria is on Steemit

  

Hey Steemit,

        Am really  excited to be here. I've actually wanted to do this for some days now, but I've not had steady power supply. Steady power supply is a big deal in Nigeria. Am sure @infovore can relate.


                                                   INTRODUCTION POST BEGINS
          My name is Chidinma Evelyn Madubuko, Am a 25 year old Nigerian Lady. I grew up in Lagos state with my 3 siblings and parents.Growing up in Lagos was actually tough. Despite the fact that I grew up in a middle class family, we still lacked basic amenities that could make life easier. Growing up in Lagos was quite the experience of a life time.I was actually an introvert while growing up, My dad was really strict then so i couldn't really keep a lot of friends or go out often.

That's why am glad am here because steemit is definitely the best place to be able to impact on others. I love to put in my best in all that i do and make sure it comes out great.


                                                                          SO AS FOR LIFE
        After my high school education, i gained admission into Lagos state university  and i studied business administration. I got married a little bit after i gained admission into the university. (I was 20 then ). 
          I juggled being a wife and going to school at the same time. I started having kids while still in school. I have 3 amazing sons now. Thankfully, i was able to graduate with good grades, Despite all circumstances. 
           The rate of unemployment in Nigeria is overwhelming. After college, i was unable to find a decent job so i stayed home and dedicated my life to my family.  I tried my hands on a couple of home businesses, but none worked out.I ended up in debt because i had taken a loan from friends to finance my home business which didn't work out.

          I actually heard about steemit a couple of months ago from a friend. I never fully grasped the opportunity. I've been worried lately because of the loan i took and the deadline to pay up is slowly closing in on me.
           I've been desperately looking for a way to actually make an income. I strongly believe in cryptocurrencies and its possibilities and somehow, i felt it'll be the long lasting solution am looking for. I just started focusing on bitcoin and i tried faucets, adclicks, hyips, and all sorts of ways i thought i could earn bitcoin easily.But none really seemed to be working out. Faucets are indeed a pain in the butt.
           One day, i just googled how to make 5$ daily online. (5$ may not be a lot but converted to naira, on the long run its actually a lot.) I came across a post by @stellabelle and its headline said  HOW I MADE 12000$ ON STEEMIT IN A MONTH. I was beyond amazed.I then did some research on steem and steemit. I was a bit pissed it took me this long to actually understand the concept and embrace the opportunity. 
           @stellabelle totally uplifted me with her post, i was totally motivated and really wanted to give steemit my best shot. I then signed up on steemit, 3 hours later my account was approved. I was randomly going through posts that had made headlines on steemit, then i saw @guerrint post about bringing girl power and more feminine topics to steemit. I was just beyond impressed. Seeing @infovore introduction post was just icing on the cake for me. I've seen a lot of amazing posts here on steemit. @trafalgar and @intelliguy also have awesome posts. These are just  few of the many authors who have motivated me during my short stay here and i want to say thank you for putting out great content always.  They've all made me want to do more on steemit.

                                                                                  GOALS
           I want to be able to make a great difference on steemit. I plan to dedicate my time and efforts and publish posts that will be beneficial to everyone.Am actually more of the girl next door because am versatile and  interested in a lot of topics. From fashion to cryptocurrency, health and fitness, family, travel, beauty, motherhood and so on. I'll definitely  be able to post something for everyone out there.

                                                                         CREATING AWARENESS
         I also plan to create awareness to the steemit platform. In Nigeria, a lot of people do not know about steemit. They might have heard about it, but they don't fully understand it and definitely don't understand the benefits or how big this actually is. Since I joined steemit, it has added flare to my social life.
         As a stay at home mum of 3,i actually look forward to commenting and upvoting on the very interesting articles published daily on steemit. I love how welcoming the steemit community is and i love steem as a cryptocurrency.

       Am here to network, am here to hopefully publish posts that will be beneficial to others, but above all, am here to make wonderful friends online and build an awesome steemit family.
      Steemit is changing lives gradually and I'll tell more people about it because I'll love to positively impact the lives of a lot of people out there. It'll be my own little way of giving back to the community.

    So here's to having a wonderful time networking and posting on steemit... its truely a pleasure to meet you all.
