I just joined steemit after learning about it while investigating alternatives to the 'big" social media platforms.
I am living and working in Southeast Asia for my day job. I love this part of the world and have made friends from all walks of life. I find the contrasts of life here amazing and sometimes disheartening, but seeing the how people learn to prevail in harsh situations is big takeaway from living here. Since this is my first post I will add a few photos I have taken while traveling this part of the world.

I currently live in Thailand and have a fondness for the culture here. But I also really enjoy travelling to Vietnam. It reminds me of my early travels into the Isaan region of Thailand. I lived in Shanghai for several years and that was interesting.
