Who am I and why am I here?

Welcome to the Community! Also, don't upvote or follow @khunpoom, he's an annoying little bot. You'll find a lot of those around here.

I don't know much about @dobroman, but that account is likely also a bot, or spammer of some sort, considering his/her/its reputation is a lowly 4.

I wish you luck with posting your interesting stories, and becoming famous! :)

P.S.

  • Watch Out for Bots (there are some clever ones on here)
  • Don't try to get famous by asking people to "follow for follow"
  • You're limited to the number of times you can "like" posts in one day, so make them count on the posts that you truly enjoy (If you keep your upvotes limited to 10-15 per day you should be fine).
  • Follow people who you feel provide you with interesting content, not just the ones with the most "Steem Power" and powerful upvotes.
  • Build your own brand.
  • Interact in the community.
  • Avoid the pitfall of thinking that Steemit is a "get rich quick" platform. If you make $100 over your first month here, that doesn't indicate that you'll make the same $100+ each of the following months you spend on here.

Hmm, I think that covers most of it. Thanks for joining our community! I look forward to seeing more posts from you!

Thank you for your tips @evolved08grs! They are really useful!

I didn't know that there are bots here. It took 5 days for my account to get approved, so I thought they had found a way to detect bots and prevent them from signing up, that is why it took so long. But it seems that my guesses were not correct.

There are bots, unfortunately, but there are many of us who are fighting against them. So hopefully they don't survive for long!
