Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is exphysio-guy, xp-guy, xp, guy, whatever your heart desires. I've recently begun my last semester in exercise science at university. Exercise physiology as you may have assumed from the handle is pretty fascinating to me. I started looking into blogging for some extra practice speaking on the subject a short time ago and after being clued into the steem community and cryptocurrency, I figured there was no better place for such practice. I will be posting regularly on whatever topics I come up with at first, but I hope to receive enough questions from the community to run the blog that way. If you've ever wondered...
- What kinds of cardio are best for my goals?
- What are proper squat techniques? Deadlift? Clean & Jerk? Snatch???
- How many sets/reps to do for fat loss?
- " " sets/reps to do for strength gains?
- " " sets'reps for bigger muscles?
- How often should I workout? How often should I rest?
- Which muscle groups should I pair together? Or is full-body the way to go?
OR
- How do my muscles actually work?
- What do cortisol, testosterone and other hormones actually do? How do they work?
- How does my food become energy? How does my body use that energy?
- What mechanisms cause my body to adapt to exercise? To climate? Altitude???
- What kind of adaptations occur during exercise? After exercise? A month or more of exercise?
THEN
Smack that follow for me and we can explore these questions and more, together.
Sincerely,
XP
