Heyyooo Steemit Community!

My name is Derrick & I'm stoked like a bellows to be tapping into this web of inspiring Steemians reaching out & creating together on the leading edge of this digital revolution. They say that the inventions of both the steem-powered printing press and the steem-engine in 19th century Britain were two of the main catalysts of the First Industrial Revolution ..we are obviously living during wildly changing times and i must say that arriving here - into the steem - feels a bit like an ordained safe haven for the onset of todays sharing economy & communication bonanza.

I'm an organic veggie farmer that is passionate about stewarding a relocalization between our soils and souls. Looking forward to sharing foody thoughts & nerding out about projects around the farm {check out Coastal Rainforest Farm on insta or facebook}. I'm living within a groovy community on Vancouver Island & am going to be building my home on an old school bus soon, that might generate some interesting reads. Pretty much - I'm in my mind telling myself stories all day while my hands are in the soil. Maybe here, on steemit, can be my place to share those voices.

I'm sO grateful to my pal @Zipporah who introduced me this community and ignited my inspiration to expose some tales. As humans, we eat up stories like we do with food so hopefully.. I can grow some food for ya'll too :D

Pee.Ess. .::. It took me so long to build up the gusto to snap a picture for my #introduceyourself post... that when i finally did it & then had to keep taking them to push into the discomfort of it all. I guess I'll share one on @farmdruid's instagram too... to reeally lean into it :|
