My first and probably least weird post!! I'm so excited to have discovered Steemit, you have no idea!!!

Hello, everyone! My name is Francescap and I am so excited to be here!

I discovered Steemit last week and have been dying to get approved and start posting here ever since! I used to write professionally for a cannabis magazine along with cannabis-related press releases for a legalization organization, but it has been several years since I've written anything at all.

You might say I had writer's block; well, all-around creative block, really. Writing according to someone else's preferences and guidelines, like some sort of bot, tends to really suck the fun out of something you once loved. Not to mention that freelancing can often turn out to be a non-paying gig. Essentially, "lancing" for free – ha.

There's also the issue of not feeling free to write about one's honest opinions without being ridiculed or exiled by everyone you know IRL. I used to post a lot of my opinions on mainstream social media platforms; but let's just face it, those aren't always the most supportive or encouraging places to do so. It turns out that a lot of people don't enjoy hearing, reading, or discussing cold, hard, un-sugarcoated truths; nor do they wish to entertain the "what-ifs" of life, regarding reality as we know it. I'd much rather share my random thoughts and opinions with total strangers and possibly be rewarded for it if I can. This seems like a healthy, open-minded place to ponder those "what-ifs," simply for purpose of intellectual entertainment.

Here, I can be as anonymous or known as I choose. That makes me feel very free to express my most honest and genuine self. I'll probably begin to reveal more of myself over time; but for now, I don't even know where I'd begin. Steemit is exactly what I've been needing in my life.

A little bit that I can say about myself is that I have a lot of...quirky...interests. I'm really into studying Albert Pike, MK Ultra/mind control, and I love a good conspiracy theory. I don't necessarily believe every theory I come across, but I like to entertain all kinds of things as possibilities. The weirder, the better and the more entertaining!

I've traveled a lot within the U.S. and sometimes I “notice things” in different places that make me question how much of the bigger picture we, the people, actually see. Sometimes I can't help but wonder whether there is a larger guiding force in our lives and the universe; and what exactly that hypothetical force might consist of.

Is it a shadow government? Is it God? Is God just energy as we identify it scientifically? Could it possibly be reptilian creatures? Does this concept not exist at all and it isn't even "a thing"? Honestly, who even knows for sure? It certainly can't hurt to explore all of these as possibilities.

I have a lot of interests, so instead of listing them all here, I'll just let them spill out over time in my posts. I think this platform is really going to help me come out of my shell, as a writer and that excites me more than words can express!

And most likely, not everything I write will be so heavy in nature. I'm absolutely an over-thinker, but even I like to occasionally be lighthearted and fun. I'm not usually around a lot of people who are into these “nerdier” topics, so I am so grateful to have a place to discuss them with others who share the interest. It will be nice to get it all out – whatever is on my mind. Otherwise, a person might spontaneously combust!

I've already got a few posts in the works that I will do my best to publish soon, and hopefully, you all will enjoy my content!
