I wasn't really sure what to post my first time, so please forgive me. After reading many posts and noticed the creativity, honesty, integrity of this community, I decided to be personal. I just wanted to share this life-
changing event that recently happened to me. Perhaps others on this platform can relate to this. Please forgive me for the picture in the hospital, it's not my best.
Heres what happened!
I was out running last week and my left leg started to hurt, so I blew it off, walked a bit and then continued to run. The pain happened again but with great intensity. Then it became difficult to breathe. So I went to the ER and after some tests, the doctor told me that I had blood clots in my left leg that traveled into my lungs. He called it a pulmonary embolism, which can be life-threatening. I was immediately admitted and was told if I waited any longer, I probably would not have been here for Christmas. For that, I am truly grateful. You never realize how precious life is until you experience a life-changing event. I will never take anything for granted again!
I am getting better and stronger and would like to introduce myself.

You already involved, lol I’m glad your able to post even if just to let us know what’s going on with you because these times of need is when we need to be there for one another, so just know I’m here man, I was on a Audio app no texts no pictures just the sound of people’s voices, When I ended up in the hospital it was always nice to have people who Genuinely care about what I was going on with me rather than the content I was pushing out, So keep making hospital post and keep us informed

Hello and welcome. I'm hoping you get well soonest. I am sick with a chronic illness and I know what you mean when you say you won't take life for granted anymore.
