Hi, I'm the producer of "Derrick J's Victimless Crime Spree" and am a nationally syndicated talk show host.

Hi, I'm Ian Freeman.  Like many other libertarians and voluntarists I moved to New Hampshire about a decade ago to work together with others to achieve more freedom in my life.  For me, that has meant creating media like my nightly talk radio program, Free Talk Live (heard on over 170 AM&FM stations in the U.S.)

In 2006, I launched Free Keene, a blog site that has chronicled a bunch of some of the exciting and frequently controversial activism that has happened here, like the epic 420 mass civil disobedience, and Robin Hood of Keene - where activists have saved thousands of people from getting parking tickets.

After launching a 24/7 streaming talk radio network called LRN.FM in 2009, I had the pleasure of being the executive producer of a feature-length documentary that featured my friend Derrick J getting arrested several times for "crimes" that have no victim, like smoking cannabis, and going to court with a video camera.  As police accountability activists, we'd of course gotten all of the arrests on video and decided it would make a fine documentary, and "Derrick J's Victimless Crime Spree" was born.  You can watch the whole thing for free on YouTube.

Over the years of my activism, I've been arrested a bunch of times - a couple of those arrests you can see in the Victimless Crime Spree  - of course, all my arrests were for victimless crimes as well.

I've been a big bitcoin proponent for a long time and administer a couple of the only Bitcoin Vending Machines in all of New England on behalf of the Shire Free Church, in which I am a minister.  A major change in my life was going from atheist to panentheist, which I discuss in a more detailed post here.

I'm not sure how steem is going to work out, but I'm interested to find out!  Thanks for reading.

Awesome. Glad to see more victimless criminals here. Do you have a picture of yourself with a Steem(it) sign and the date?

I don't. Is that something I was supposed to do?

It would go a long way in verifying. We're getting a lot of (potential) abuse from people who are trying to cash in on the introduceyourself tag.

Ok, I'll make another post as there seems to be no way to edit after submission.

You should be able to edit this one

Edits are not possible (currently) after initial payout. I would just do a whole new post again with the verifying. Looking forward to it. Maybe YouTube video it, too!

I donated to Derricks gofundme many years ago right after the Victimless Crime Spree came out and he announced his next film. Are you guys working on a follow up movie?

I first heard about Bitcoin in January 2011, when Free Talk Live became the first talk radio show, aired on multiple stations, (that isn't specifically a technology-related show) to discuss Bitcoin.
