Hello everyone!!
I just joined steemit and I am not really sure what to expect, but I've decided to put myself out there and share a few things anyway.
My name is Gabrielle, I am 20 years old and I live in Berlin, Germany!
^ Yup, thats me! Enjoying the sun, sand (rocks) and sea in the port town of Rijeka, Croatia.
I am originally from Cary, North Carolina. So I guess you can call me a SSG? Sweet Southern Gal? But I didn't really feel like a southern girl at heart and so, as my story goes - in the fall of 2016 I decided to move across the globe to Berlin and start fresh. I now study, work and live in Berlin and I am loving every minute of it.
I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Arts in Photography, so taking photos is a major part of my life.

A tip and a plug: I encourage you to tag your photos with #photofeed - the @photofeed guys do a great job of curating , resteeming and upvoting photos on that tag every day, so it never hurts to let them see your work.
Also, if you like photo contests, there are a few of them on here, but I'll plug the @photogames. Me and @jarvie and @caseygrimley are running that and I encourage you to check it out - it's a lot of fun, and a good way to interact with other photographers on Steemit. :)

Since you are a photographer, to get you started, you can join photo contests to get momentum, followers and even prizes. One of them is @photocontests.
A good place to start for a begginer in steemit is the PALnet community. You can find it on this blog @minnowsupport.
