Let me introduce myself; I am GETENCORED

I am Groot GET-EN-CORE-D and I find it unbelievable that I've been on #steemit for over a year now. My first post was about 2 months ago and finally got a full grip of steemit just about 2 weeks ago. When I opened an account, I was relatively naive in the cryptosphere, and the concept of steem, steem power and steem dollars confused me then so I passed.

@drugcompendium who happens to be my friend wanted me to contribute to the @drugcompendium page, but I didn't feel a need to commit then. It was however a post by @samstickkz that rekindled my interest in steemit. His post appeared on my chrome news feed and I found out that Nigerians are positively contributing not only in the steem community but also in the cryptosphere. I'd also like to use this opportunity to thank @jacobite, he gave me the best welcome. Thanks for being an inspiration bro. Now the lyrics of John Legend and Common's glorykeeps playing in my head and I say to myself, steemit is now for every man, woman and child... Now I'm ready to commit 😆.

My name is Peter Abia, a Nigerian, practicing pharmacist, crypto-enthusiast, scientist, adept reader and researcher, critique, logical thinker, innovator, idea bag, writer, MCU and sci-fi freak. I also love good music amd movies. There's a lot to be learnt in life and I believe I can't learn enough. I happen to find myself in a team of wonderful individuals (cryptotrade101 and #cryptokarta) who share ideas and support one another with respect to cryptocurrencies generally. I am highly optimistic and believe in adding value through my actions to people around me.

Just as I promised, I would commit more time to the steemit community and not only learn as much as I can but also contribute value especially in areas related to @steemstem, @stemng, @wafrica, #health, #cryptocurrencies, #grassroot_mentoring, and inspiring not only #Nigerian youths but every steemian I come across.
