Why I feel like I'm about to walk up to a pretty girl and introduce myself???

• First: No, this has nothing to do with bacon but it made you look! Who doesn't love bacon anyway? I mean seriously.

• Second: I wanted to thank a few people. First, the man who introduced me to crypto- currency and this site. He and I talked about cryptos back when it was around $3.00 and shrugged it off. D'oh! No, he's not a member(yet!) and I'm plenty ok with "You go first!" approach because, well, he and his wife are a lot smarter than I am and I know they'd pull me back out if I started to drown. Thank you. Eternally.

Also, I want to thank the abundance of legit"for newbie" & "for beginner" posts that are here. I was a newb when Facebook first left college campuses and was part of a primitive blog (of sorts) called Yafro and there was absolutely NOTHING like the help I've read on here the past several days. Yafro is now defunct and I suspect that Facebook is on the clock. Btw I don't have Facebook, Twitter, Snap-sta-gram, Insta-chat because it started to creep me out. Yes, of course I have a smartphone =)) Thank you specifically to:

Please. I've filled this section out on enough dating websites and that kind of takes the fun out of knowing about someone IMO. I'll gladly give you some fun facts though!

I'm not here to make money. I'm here to learn, educate myself, and hopefully entertain. There's enough of this community to learn from and are serious whereas I'm hoping to be that respite from all the seriousness. It's the least I can do.

My first love is Hockey. Best. Sport. Ever! Have you ever watched an All-Star game? They're having so much fun and I seriously think they would play for free. Then again if someone is going to pay you millions to play a game who wouldn't?

I like beer...and bacon.

I think all computers, tablets, and cellphones, etc. should come equipped with breathalyzers. C'mon, we've all done THAT post before.

I can cook better than the average bachelor and no it doesn't involve a microwave.

Would you believe that I can do Latin Dance? I wouldn't either.

I split my own firewood and overpaid for a nice ax-head to prove it. It kinda rocks hanging on the wall though.

There's a local sports/variety show that I can't get enough of in the mornings. It's not for everyone and once in awhile they do actually talk about sports too. The posts from my feed most likely won't have to do with crypto but they will be wide, varied, thought-provoking, and hopefully engaging in a civil and adult manor. Nothing can be gained from hatred or ignorance. I'm here to contribute and build this place. It feels good being here and I say that with a gut instinct. Then again I moved to Las Vegas about 9 years ago with the same feeling. Hmmmm...I digress.

Let's actually work together. Rise above it all? Encourage instead of demean each other. Know that opinions vary and we should learn from each other because we're sure as hell not all alike. My only exception is that if you're a Kardashian of any sort then just get on a plane with enough fuel to just take-off. The rest of us? We can do this.
