Introduceyourself: TIM-The Pencil Artist (With Filipino translation)

Dear Steemians!

My name is Tim. I have been into other social media before and often heard about Steemit. The one who really introduced me to this site is my Tita @mers, my dad´s older sister. She´s into this I reckoned since June this year. She has convinced me to join because a lot of artists and artistic people are here….so that made me curious. Today, I am joining Steemit because aside from the financial reward, I could still learn so much from a lot of artists whose works I have been seeing on this site…and perhaps find new friends who have the same vocation as mine..

I´m an artist who became a digital animator for four years making cartoons. Nowadays, I´m a freelancer artist who chose charcoal or pencil portraits to be my medium and do digital animation as my sideline and sometimes the other way around. I think it´s better to be a freelance artist as I can choose my time when to work and there´s no pressure while my work is in - progress. Of course, in animation, the more hard you work, the more you earn. I am giving more weight on drawing portraits, although my income there isn´t that much to meet everyday costs. I am still looking for a more rewarding job at the moment. Below you can find my previous works. I will be posting a step-by-step pic tutorial to share to those who wanted to see how I make my drawings.

Art is my life´s perspective especially to draw, I knew it because at a young age I was doing this already. I couldn´t explain it but every time I see the work of others, I feel happy because those work gave me the inspirations to continue what I begun.

LEARNING FOR MY FUTURE

When I became older, I studied and took the course product designing and computer graphics in college. I was happy with my course because I love it. From then on, I have known many friends with the same interest like mine and that is the passion to draw. During my studies, I was able to get in contact with at a well known studio that collaborated with my university and when they found out I had a potential, they gave me a free training and they eventually asked me to work for them.

Some people may not appreciate art or illustrations, but for me, art has a very deep meaning in my heart. I'm so grateful to have signed-up at Steemit and I hope I could contribute more to the community by posting drawing tutorials as my future contents.

Mahal na mga Steemians!

Ako po ay si Tim. Marami na akong social media na napuntahan at nasubukan at isa sa mga madalas ko marinig ay itong Steemit. Ang talagang nagpakilala sa akin dito ay ang aking tita@mers. Siya ay isa rin baguhan sa Steemit na nagsimula nuong nakaraang Junio. Ayun sa kanya ay bukod sa puedeng kumita dito, ay marami akong matututunan at makikilala na kapwa artists. Hindi pa ako masyadong pamilyar sa Steemit pero pinagsisikapan ko matutunan ang sistema nito.

Ako ay isang digital animator sa nakaraang apat na taon. Sa ngayon, isa akong freelancer na animator. Para naman kumita ako ay gumuguhit din ako ng mga larawan o portraits. Depende sa sipag at tiyaga, maganda naman ang kitaan sa larangan ng digital animation sa dahilan na kapag marami kang natapos ay marami din ang iyung kikitain. Lahat ng ito ay nangangailangan ng konsentrasyon at tahimik na paligid. Puno ng streso ang larangan na ito sa sapagkat maraming deadlines ang dapat sundin, pero sulit pa rin dahil nakikita ko ang resulta ng pagod ko.

Bukod sa digital animation ay gumuguhit ako ng mga larawan o portrait drawings… sa madaling salita ay yung tinatawag na charcoal portraits. Sideline ko lamang ito pagkat hindi sapat ang kita rito sa pang araw araw na gastos lalo na kapag di marami ang nagpapagawa ng larawan. Ang pag guhit ay bahagi na ng buong buhay ko sa dahilang nung maliit pa ako ay gumuguhit na ako. Di ko maipaliwanag ng husto, subalit ako ay sumasaya kapag ako ay nakakakita ng gawa ng ibang mangguguhit na nagbibigay sa akin ng inspirasyon na ipagpatuloy ko ang aking hangad sa buhay.

PAG-AARAL PARA SA AKING KINABUKASAN

Habang palakad ang panahon, ako ay nag aral ng kursong product designing at computer graphics nung ako ay nasa kolehiyo.Masaya ako sa nakuha kong kurso dahil hilig ko ito at madami rin akong nakilalang kaibigan tulad ko na mahilig gumuhit . Napag alaman ko na may isang kilalang studio Sa Pilipinas na nakikipag-ugnay sa aming kolehiyo na naghahanap na potensyal na mangguguhit. Nakilala ko sila at binigyan nila ako ng libreng training at sa kalaunan kinuha nila ako bilang digital animator. Nais ko pong ibahagi ang aking nakaraang gawa rito at maglalahad din ako ng pic tutorial or yung tinatawag na step - by - step pic tutorial para sa mga gustong malaman kung paano ko ginagawa ang mga larawan na ito.

Marami ako natutunan nuong ako ay nagtrabaho…lumawak at lumalim ang aking kaisipan tungkol sa siyensyang ito at naisip ko na kapag nagpursigi ka at napapag aralan itong mabuti ay magtatagumpay ka rin sa bandang huli. Sa aking tingin at opinyun, hindi pa marami ang taong nag uukol ng mataas na pagpapahalaga sa sining na ito. Pero sa tutuo lang, ito ay may malalim na kahulugan sa aking puso at diwa.
