Finally, My Introduce Yourself Post!

Hello Steemit!

Not sure why this isn't the first thing I did, but I have been on this site for 5 days and thought its finally time to do an #introduceyourself

My name is Gustaf, Gus for short, and I reside in the Gold Coast of Australia. I recently started getting involved in the crypto currency world and got introduced to Steemit subsequently. I'll be honest. I swore off social media many years ago and have avoided it for the most part. however, Steemit has redesigned the concept for me and I feel if there ever was a platform to be involved with in any kind of social media, then Steemit is definitely it!

I do vocals in a touring metal band, short teaser below. Feel free to check us out if this is your kinda thing!

Now that that is out of the way, I will mainly be posting about cars, music, cryptocurrency, MMA and technology, with some miscellaneous pieces in between.

Sure thing! Sorry for the late reply. I went through a three month period where I cut out all sugar and alcohol as well as junk foods. I followed a exercise and diet program which I can link you with if you are up for a challenge.

I started doing 20 mins of cardio every day, usually first thing in the morning before breakfast to maximize caloric burn. The program is kind of intense, but I strongly believe anyone can do it if they are determined to lose weight. You do not have to count calories, but diet is strict and you have to exercise daily. You dont really go hungry though because it allows for you to eat often (every 2 hours).

I thought it was a great experience and would do it again some day. I went from 93kg to 74kg, a change of 19kg or nearly 42 pounds if you are not using metric.
