Hi Guys, I’m Haley!

I’m 22 year old Dancer from Wisconsin but living in L.A. .
I’m a Background Dancer for J. Lo, participated in “The Move Live on Tour” in 2015 with Julianna & Derek Hough, MTV Movie Awards, American Idol, Ellen, The Voice, worked on Projects with the Rock and Kevin Hart and much more!

Ok so where do I start my story?

I have been dancing as long as I can remember.
I grew up in Stoughton, WI and took my first classes (Ballet & Jazz) as a toddler!

I'm the one on the very right!

I just continued doing it, practicing up to 6 times a week, and I explored a new style of dance at Capital Dance Revolution: Hip Hop!

I completely fell in love with it. From this age, being a Teenager, me and my parents realized that dancing wasn’t just a Hobby for me.

It was my passion, as well as my greatest talent.

But there weren’t any great opportunities to pursue dance in Wisconsin. So I kept traveling to different workshops and auditions around the country, to perfect my techniques, but also meet new people in the industry and try to get some Job offers.

After a while I realized that if I seriously wanted to make dance my career, I needed to be where the Entertainment Industry booms: Los Angeles.

So I left my family, friends, and everything I knew behind and moved halfway across the country to LA!
At first, it felt very strange and lonely, but the dancers in the industry are all absolute sweethearts and I connected with everyone super quickly.

Almost everyone moved from their Hometown to LA to pursue dance as their career, so we had a lot in common. Although I’m not one of those typical girly girls, with some make up you can easily get me looking like that and ready for the Hollywood Stage ;)

So then, I just started working like crazy! I took classes of 7+ hours everyday, and going to 3 or more auditions daily on the weekend.

And my hard work started to pay off – I got Jobs to be a background dancer at amazing concerts, go on TV Shows like Ellen, MTV Movie Awards or American Idol, and travelled the world to teach my chroeographies at different dance workshops.

I am so so so grateful for all the opportunities that I have gotten, and that I can actually manage to pay my bills by doing the thing I love most. This is really a blessing!

So enough about my background story, what else is there to say about me?

I LOVE Kittens, and will definitely get one (or 2..?) one day!
I’m a natural redhead and get sunburnt super easily – so annoying when living in SoCal!
And I’m weird. Much weirder than you can imagine probably!
I have a very quirky Humor that not everybody understands, but me and my friends have the best time laughing about it.

I love to laugh – isn’t it one of the best things in life?

This is the quirky, non-glamorous side of me!

But I'm also just a normal girl that enjoys life & nature!

And thanks to the Tours and Workshops that are part of my Job, I get to travel quite a lot - which I love! Exploring new countries is one of my absolute favorite things to do.

I’m super excited to share my experiences here on Steemit, so let’s see where this goes! I have a lot more dance footage to share with you guys, and I feel like I’m one of the only dancers on here, so this feels like a great opportunity!
