Hey all, nice to be here on Steemit with you all.
My name is Scott Harshbarger, or just Harsh if you like. I am an artist and illustrator who has become a graphic designer, writer, and game designer/publisher. I am putting together a relaunch of my game company Harsh Realities, which produces the Sixcess game system for tabletop RPGs, and our first two Setting books Promised Sands and ElfWood. I am also dabbling in several personal projects and some client work as I make my way to being more fully self-employed and independent. Recently I have done a few covers for novels and I'm working on a children's book series as well.
I've been an avid gamer most of my life, and in addition to tabletop games and the written word, I dream of pushing my properties into visual media as well.
You can find me on Instagram (@theartofharsh) and Twitter (@Harsh_Art), if you like.
I also have a Patreon (www.patreon.com/harsh) where I show a lot of behind the scenes content and talk about process and show works in progress fairly frequently.
Hopefully I can offer something of value to the community, and meet some interesting people here. Thanks!
Scott/Harsh

Hello Harsh! I seem to be doing my level best to go around Steemit and collect all the tabletop game designers. Gotta catch 'em all, it seems.

I always found Sixcess to be one of the more interesting of the 2012 wave of relatively rules light systems. While it didn't hit the sweet spot of being GM-less as well as lightweight for my own tastes, it's a pretty serviceable system, worthy of being put up against anything of the time. I'll admit, I have had a weird itch in the back of my brain to do a hack which removes Attributes and Skills to replace with the more general Traits found in things like Wushu or OTE, but somehow never got around to putting that together.

It's good to see another game designer hanging out in this space. Hopefully we can all have a bit of a community going on. That makes everything better over here on Steemit.

Hey lextenebris, thanks for that. I'm nearly finished with Sixcess 2nd edition, which tightens things up a lot, and presents the game system in a much easier to read and more organized manner. We got some great input on Powers and Abilities especially, and I've stumbled upon some great tweaks for the system as well. I'm a little over halfway done with layout, so won't be long now. In the future, I hope to do a Sixcess Lite, which I may be interested in hearing your thoughts on if you like. :)
Thanks again!

That's certainly the sort of thing that's in my wheelhouse.

If you look back through some of my posts, you'll see that I've written a fair amount about role-playing games in general and about minimalist, GM-was work in specific. I know where my tastes lie, these days, which is a little bit of a relief in many ways.

My pleasure; it's truly an honor to have more developers on the platform who share a common interest.

Good stuff, man, and I will for sure look through when time permits! Thanks!

Great to see you on this platform, my friend! Onward and upward! :-D

Thanks so much, yekrats! Looking forward to some great times here.

Nice to meet you Harsh and Welcome to the Steemit Community! I really like the Name of the Game you made, It's Pure Genius! I'm also a gamer, and I would love to try your Game.

Thank you, chrisvee! I'm already a bit overwhelmed with how cool Steemit is. Thanks for the compliment too. I'm happy to talk about Sixcess and/or Harsh Realities any time, and I'll do my best to answer any questions. Stay tuned to my posts here and I'll for sure announce when it's available for purchase. I will also be looking for playtesters down the road too. Just FYI.

That would be freakin' awesome! I would love to test it!
