Hello! My first post! What do I expect to create and share here?

in introduceyourself •  7 years ago

Helloooo! I am Héctor :-)
me

I am still learning how this works. A decentralized blockchain based social blogging website that rewards content creators!? Sounds like something I should have discovered much earlier, but well... I believe this is still just the beginning. I feel excited to start this new blog and share some of my art, adventures or thoughts.

What do I want to post here? Who knows, but as for the content I like to create this is what I can expect:

1) Landscape photography! Nature photography!

I like all styles of photography but I really love landscape and nature photography, wild-life, beauty on this planet. Sometimes I find it in a big landscape, sometimes in a small detail behind a fallen leaf. It is exciting to explore and search for it. It is not only the final photo. It is the process of discovering places, hiking, connecting with nature, feeling each step until you capture the beauty, the moment, to remember again when I am not there, and to share it with others. It can be photos, or videos. Nature is inspiring!

This is a preview of the best 9 pictures of 2017 (according to the likes in old fashioned social networks) so you can have an idea of some of the photography I love to do while discovering places:

2) Videos!

This year I want to be able to buy one drone to fly through the clouds and into the forests and create more and more inspiring nature videos.
Also, here is a video-clip I recently collaborated filming and creating, for the amazing artist Priscilla Hernandez ;-) Even if you don't follow me, you must follow her! ----> @yidneth

3) Music!

I like to compose music. Mainly instrumental piano or synthesizers. It is not the kind of music that may be liked by the masses, you know... commercial stuff, and I don't usually share my music often. It's more like an internal therapy for me :-) I am hoping this new steemit blogging adventure leads me to share more of my music!

All right, I guess now all I have to do is click "Post" to post this! :-D

Welcome to Steemit @hedac! I think if you learn to share your interests you'll do great here!

In case you haven't already seen Steemit is just one platform of the overall Steem community. If you haven't already seen you can replace many social networks by using Steem based platforms like this:

Replace Reddit for Steemit - www.steemit.com
Replace YouTube for D.tube - d.tube
Replace Twitter for Zappl - www.zappl.com
Replace Instagram for Steepshot - www.steepshot.io
Replace SoundCloud for DSound - www.dsound.audio
Replace Periscope for DLive - www.dlive.io

While each of these sites have a community built around their product offering for the Steem ecosystem, they all still post to the same Steem blockchain. So when you view on Steemit you will see all posts that go to the blockchain while viewing on the independent channels may restrict to just content that was created on their network.

Regardless of what platform you use to interact you still earn rewards based in Steem for participating. It just makes so much more sense than using the centralized platforms of the past!

I think if you share your pictures to Steepshot, music to DSound and videos to DTube you'll be surprised how much you'll earn! Anyways if there's anything I can do to help please just ask!

Thank you for the informative post. I'm learning a lot fast. It is a great idea to have all these platforms that share the same Steem system but then a user for example can see all the videos in one place (DTube) if they are only interested in the videos. And I like that everything is visible in the Steemit platform too. It seems it is like the main platform, isn't it? But is there a way, when you see the blog of someone, to see only the blog posts of Steemit too like a filter to switch between all Steem content and Steemit content?

I didn't know about half those other platforms, Thanks for sharing. I look forward to sharing more of my photography through them.

Hey Hector and welcome! Just joined yesterday! Can’t wait to see the landscapes you post. Check out my blog when you have a moment. Upvote and follow coming your way! Cheers!

Thank you for the welcome and vote and follow! This is all new and exciting. I'll check your blog. We created the account the same day :-)

Hi, Hector. What a great intro blog. The video is beautiful, and I love your photography, especially the sleeping pigs (if they aren't sleeping, please don't tell me). If this is what your upcoming posts will look like, you're going to have a lot of success on Steemit, and I'm going to enjoy seeing you on my feed.

Thank you very much. The pigs are very happy having a nap in a really nice place in the middle of the mountain. We stopped a bit to eat something and contemplate the landscape, and then the pigs suddenly appeared and wanted our food :) I am going to start posting photos soon. Since I created the account here I've been busy and hiking making photos :)

Welcome :) You should check out @dtube for your future videos man!

Thank you @welcoming for the welcome and vote :-) Yes I am learning about @dtube and it seems great and I am definitively going to use it for my videos! I see now that it is still version 0.6 and keeps improving a lot with each new version!

Welcome hedac. Enjoy your new adventure. Hope to see those wonderful photos of nature that you have. Enjoy your new discovery...

Welcome, it is a pleasure for me to observe your photographs and videos, I love what nature highlights and when we appreciate it, it gives us a great message. I invite you to visit my blog.
Greetings.

Welcome hedac, I hope you enjoy things and have fun posting.

Hey Héctor!

Welcome to Steemit! We're glad to have you here. This is a great website to post photography; I've seen pretty alarming results from photographers here. There's a page that has a rewards system that is useful if you're going to post a lot of photos. You can learn the rules here

dTube is a great place to post videos. I've heard there's also a Steemit-affiliated audio site, as well. There are a lot of resources here :)

I've made a few posts with the aim to help newer users. Feel free to check them out if you want!

Welcome! :)

Thank you very much! I'll check it out tomorrow for sure! I am still thinking where to post the photos and what resolution etc. I'll be back soon!

hi....your first time on steemit? follow my page and learn more.....lets work together

Welcome to Steemit! Short and sweet intro man, looks like you'll be sharing some cool stuff. Followed!

Thank you very much. It has been a busy day and I have been all day thinking about steemit and wanting to have some minutes to sit down again to keep learning about it, and also learning more about blockchain technology and thinking how the world is going to change... I have a strong feeling that this technology can change so many things in the future and already present! And steem!? I really like the concept of Proof of Brain :)

Welcome dude!
Good luck!

You are welcomed Héctor. Good luck.

hello and welcome @hedac~~

Welcome!

I wish you all the best.

Feel free to check out my blog @maxdigi, this way we can support each other!

Cheers

Thank you so much for the mention :) and thanks for encouraging me to create my own steem account. I'm already working on it and hope to make my first post soon.

Hi @hedac, welcome, I hope you enjoy steemit and you can write us about your experience in nature, sharing photos and music ... Greetings!

Welcome to Steemit !

It's great to make your acquaintance Héctor. Your photography is wonderful. I'm curious whether I'll find my way back into photography now that I've found this place. I really enjoy taking pictures, but I wasn't able to concentrate on that and music at the same time. Day job, you see?

I've been loving @yidneth's DLive streams and she said you're the technical guy behind it all. Are you on Discord? I'd love to have a chat with you about that. I'm very keen to do more streaming but have no clue how to get it going!

Thanks man.

Pleased to meet you too. Yes of course publish some photographs here! I want to see them! :) But I can understand it is hard to do everything. I'm struggling myself to find time to publish more. I want also to put some of my music on DSound or DLive. I've been concentrating more in learning all this steem world and helping @yidneth. Yes... we are working at the same time when we DLive. But I am behind the camera controlling that the sound is ok, the cameras etc. She wants me to go in front with the frame drum or the piano for some songs haha. Maybe one day maybe... :) The first days I had to learn many things and solve problems. You did great for the first DLive! It doesn't need to be complex. Of course I'll be happy to help you. Find me in the DLive discord with the same name, hedac.

Just watched the video you've collaborated on! I have a big project coming up which is very nature based, so I'll be keeping an eye on peeps like you :) Though it might take a while to materialize... although with Steemit, who knows?! Things seem to happen quickly on this platform... ;) Well done!

Thank you! Yes I collaborate with @yidneth for videos and music production. We both love Nature. It's a big part of our inspiration. I'm intrigued now with your big project coming up. I hope it happens soon! Thanks for following! :)
