Hey fellow Steemians! Can I first say how excited I am for this?
I’ve been dying for a new platform to share my content and we get a new platform intertwined with cryptocurrency?
Um, YES! Sign me up Johnny (or is it Scotty?)!

In a nutshell, my name is Henya, I’m an ethical vegan from Tel Aviv (yes, Israel) and I’m a blogger and vlogger.
I’m passionate about hummus (some would call me Henya the Hummus Queen). But if it’s food and it’s vegan, I love it :)
I’m also passionate about travel. I save all my nonexistent money to pursue new countries and opportunities (will travel for love {and food}, no doubt about that).
I also suffer from mental and physical health issues which makes life quite unbearable at times, but in general I am very happy about the way I lead my life, follow my dreams and I am in love with the person that I am.

I started creating content about 6 years ago on IG and YT, and in all honestly, it’s been an amazing journey.
What means most to me is the ability to influence a lot of people to choose a more healthy and compassionate lifestyle (AKA #govegan), to help people with their struggles with mental health and just motivate my “Maniacs” to pursue their dreams. Which is something I hope to do here on Steemit and Dtube.

Although I am grateful for what IG and YT brought into my life, I’ve suffered greatly from the youtube community. I’ve been bullied and slandered by other creators, I received countless of anti semitic comments and I even managed to get in and out of a cult (maybe we will talk about that one day).

In the past year youtube have changed their ad policy and I lost my main source of income. The adpocalypse was also another form of censorship and YT was limiting my LGBTQ+ and mental health content and I am NOT cool with that. Moreover, Instagram changed its algorithm and since then I’ve been only losing followers and likes no matter what I do. As I’m sure a lot of you will relate, I am sick and tired of these platforms.

Which is why I am more than happy to be joining Steemit in hopes of creating a more supportive community.
Also, I strongly believe in the future of cryptocurrencies. I bought my first bitcoin back in 2013 when it was cheeeeaaaaap and I’m currently learning how to invest in crypto, so if any of you have any tips for me, let me know!

I would tell you what’s in store for my account in hopes to incite you to follow, but I honestly have no idea :) I hope to create videos and blog posts about food, travel, my life and my opinions (which some would say are “alternative”). I just want to connect more with like-minded people and create a community.
