Hello,
i'm here by chance and ready to write my first post on steemit.com.
I think it's pretty cool that you've found this entry, thanks for checking in. I'm looking forward to your comment!
But first of all, because you may find another "introduce yourself" post plain boring... let me start with an original photograph of the Internet in its current state:
You see, i can be kind of funny. Also, i like photographing, i tell you about that later...
What's the point?
For quite some time i'm thinking that something is wrong with the Internet as we know it. It seems to be out of balance, with - let's face it - advertisers who basically decide over content, and users who are often acting like lazy sheep or selfish wannabes.
Just like me, haha! No, seriously, i'm a down-to-earth person and absolutely not into any kind of conspiracy theories. Like those many other lazy sheep and wannabes I love Twitter and YouTube (i hate facebook btw). But i have doubts, that those typical "Social Media" (is it social still?) sites are the future of the free Internet...
Here's what i strongly believe:
I strongly believe that everybody in the world should have access to the Internet. It's a place for communication, education, free speech, uncensored art, uncontrolled creative minds. You may want to add many more things to this list.
It's our main job over the next years to keep the Internet an open and free place for everybody. It's going to be tough.
So i found out about steemit.com and its mates like d.tube, Dsound and so on. To be honest, i have no idea if steemit is the answer to all my questions. Just imagine i'm here by chance and just decided to stay for a while. I'm willing to find out if steemit and the blockchain concept will make it in the long term. Will content creators and "normal" users stand together and make the world a better place? Is it only a dream?
Let me know what you think about steemit's (our) opportunities and responsibilities in the comments below.
Thanks for reading this far!
Since you went through all my pathetic brain vomit, let me get back on topic and post something about me.
For more than 20 Years i work as a freelancer. I don't consider myself an entrepreneur, but an artist. Here are some of the things i do for a living. Not only that, but i really love it:
Music - i play drums and guitar, compose original music. Record, produce and publish on my own in my home studio.
Graphic Design - I'm obsessed with Photoshop.
Photography - Mainly industrial, macro and also nature.
3D-Modelling - Love Maya. Hate Blender.
3DX - The art of virtual erotic (nsfw). I'm a master.
Video - I can YouTube. Enjoy video-editing.
Web-Programming - First thing i've learned after connecting to the Web.
SEO, Website-Administration, Community-Management. The boring shit.
Gaming - of course.
Admit that this is the weirdest mix of skills you've ever heard of! Oh, and i also love writing hopelessly long blog posts!
NSFW
Yes, i want to see nsfw content, including porn. Don't spam me with that, tho. I also consider posting nsfw stuff myself, be aware before you follow me. Please respect my point-of-view like i will respect yours. Amen.
Being interested in nsfw content is not the only reason i decided to stay anonymously - at least for some time. I hope you can respect that too.
STEEM what?
Hey, after we got the dirty things out of the way, what about some cool statements about money, coins, STEEM and all the bullshit that's going on?
Haha, now i got you! I'm only kidding. There's nothing wrong with making money online. I understand the importance of all things kryptomoney. Digging for gold just wasn't the most important reason for me to join steemit. I told you that i'm a down-to-earth person.
See you...
Alright, dear community. That was it for now. Pathetic brain vomit is over.
Let me just encourage you again to leave a comment. I'm super curious about the stuff that's going on. So far, i love you all, thanks for your attention.
And remember, i'm only
herebychance.
We have all been where you are now. Hope you enjoy :)
