Fiction Writer Introduction

I'll keep this short.

My name is Matt, and for the past four years I've been writing fiction full-time. For ten years, I've had a blog that covers topics from writing and story structure to math and science.

I write under three different names for marketing reasons. My books are in a variety of genres: pulp LitRPG, category romances, and literary slipstream fantasy to name a few.

The thing I like to read and write most is almost impossible to sell. I love short fiction that has sci-fi or fantasy elements and makes you think. Serialized sites reward extremely long stories (longer than a standard novel). Fantasy also rewards epic length and verbose descriptions.

That's why I've come here!

I thought I'd give short, intense, and tightly-written fiction a chance here. This seems like a medium suited for it, because people can vote for stuff they like without having to risk a large investment on a huge novel. If the experiment fails, I've lost nothing.
