Hello, Steemit! Welcome to my life.

Hi, everybody!

I just learned about this place, and thought I'd check it out. On the first glance, everybody seems very nice, which is a very big step up from a lot of other social network sites.

I am a youngish, happily married child at heart, and I'm here to learn new things about the world.

My interests are many. Among other things, I like to cook, although the kitchen in the apartment we are renting is too tiny and poorly equipped for it to be a genuinely happy experience.

I like to travel, although it has been years since I've last been able to go anywhere.

I like gardening, although I currently don't even have a lump of dirt to my name.

I like art, DIY, and reading books of a lot of different genres, although I am currently stuck in a Harry Potter loop, since all the magic makes the world look like a happier place than it currently is.

I love writing, although, since I was mostly a ghostwriter, nothing I've ever written actually belongs to me anymore.

Well, wasn't that just gloomy? I'm sorry, if anyone is even reading this. There aren't many big professional accomplishments in my life to speak of. I currently work as an online freelancer transcriptionist, and find it very enjoyable.

There also aren't any specific topics about which I might write in the future. I will share things I find worth sharing, and hope some of you might find them interesting. Hopefully, I will be able to do some travelling very soon. If it happens to be somewhere interesting, I'll make sure to show it to you.

Since I am by nature very shy, ever since I was a little girl, I will hold off on posting a picture of myself, or my name. I would like to get to know some of you first.
