Hi, my name is Ice Kareem. I'm unemployed, and I live with my parents.

Well I'm in a weird place in my life lol, its been a recurring theme for me...

Basically throughout my 20s... was up and down, going through periods partying too much and paying for it as a broke life-long undergrad student. Finally managed to get my undergrad degree and after a couple years working convinced an semi-reputable Canadian University to let me into their MBA program.

Now like I said, I was never a good student, I was essentially kicked out of school twice... but somehow managed to get through... Last year this time I was in a pretty nice situation, starting off my MBA and looking like I might actually make something of myself, probably never felt better. (A side-note for people trying to go back and get their MBA's... Quotas have to be met, just apply.)

But anyways, I didn't have my finances where they should have been... and being the kid I was, my student loans were defaulted on back in my early 20s. So after a year in this MBA program... I'm back home working, living in my mom's basement and probably will be for the next 8 months. I'm 29, and simply put, its gonna be a grind.

Being back home, out of a relationship and basically starting over... I've had some time on my hands... I've always been big on internet deep dives... and got into mr robot last winter. I had a friend introduce me to blockchain's earlier this summer and now steemit, and here I am.

Its hard for me to find things to keep my mind occupied, but the cryptocurrency economy does... I've probably spent the better part of 2 days trying to understand it - and really... still dont .

But its cool, its something for me to do... I tend to ruminate when I dont have much going on... so just reading and deep diving, has given my mind somewhat of a reprieve.

That's really all I got. Throughout my 20s, I would deal with periods like this by partying and just getting into a negative cycle - so I'm trying something different, I'm gonna learn about this community, and hopefully become a part of it. Here's to the opposite.
