Hello, Steemit people!

Hi all!

It’s good to be here! This is my very first day on Steemit, and I am very curious to experience how it works, and see how it will evolve in time.

My name is Irina Pocovnicu, I’m 30 and I live in Bucharest, Romania, Europe. 

I am married to an awesome husband.

...and I have the most awesome cat  - a fluffy british shorthair named Spike (goes by #FluffySpike on Instagram). Yes, this is a real photo I took of him.

I enjoy travelling, though I’d wish to do it more often. I do dream of being able to work remotely and travel the world. And when I say world, I mostly mean sunny tropical islands. I just returned from the most amazing adventure ever in Maldives, so I am a bit biased, I admit. 

Work

I am specialized in Digital Marketing, and have been working in the field for the past 10+ years, for some of the biggest brands in the world. 

Since January this year I quit my job. Oh, yes I did. A high position, well-viewed job, with opportunities to climb the corporate ladder. But you might know the feeling - damn it, it didn’t feel enough and I kept wondering - is this it?

I am now trying to start-up my own consultancy business. My aim is to help businesses in the region to transform their businesses via digital tools.

With this new transformation in my life, I’ve come to learn a lot and be interested in: Digital Transformation, Fourth Industrial Revolution, Design Thinking, Entrepreneurship, Training, Coaching, Leadership.

Slow Down

On top of my business related interests I’ve come up with a new mantra that I want to follow in my personal life. It’s Slow Down. I am interested in knowing all about how I can improve my life, mind, body & spirit.
