Introducing my self 24 year old Venezuelan tattoo artist living in Costa Rica

My name is Israel Peña 24 year old Venezuelan Tattoo Artist living in Costa Rica

I have been drawing as far as i can remember... always been really inspired by music ,movies and videogames .It was a matter of time until i started started to take it seriously more than just a hobby and realize i could make a living out of it

I have been in the world of tattoos for 3 years now and of course with the course of time i started realizing that not everything is as you expect it would be , i start noticing the huge amount of vanity that surround the tattoos and how little is involve .

For me aesthetics and art have never been the same thing AT ALL this is a regular misconception that i see alot recently ,art is and expresion ... because something looks pretty doesnt mean it has an artistic value ... i will talk about this in further posts and show some examples of it .

Why am i here

A friend of mine @ovweed talked to me about this place and told me it was a good idea for me to share my knowledge and points of view about certain things , and at the same time i could maybe make some money from true art and still be making it just for the love of art.

I will be making some tutorials , sharing some tips for art in general i think doesnt mather what you whant to specialize in art we should all try to be as complete as we can, once you know the rules you can break them and make it your own.

I will be posting in spanish and english so come take a look if you are into REAL art i think you will find something for you i will start whit some lettering tutorials specially because i see is diying.... now anyone can just go to a website and download fonts.

Im looking foward to see what steemit can do to support art.
