I'm a 31 year old guy from germany who is interested in some stuff like
Java, Blender 3D, Inkscape and Gimp. I am also a huge fan and enthusiastic
Harley Davidson owner and biker.
So I heard about this new blockchain driven platform and thought it could
be a great idea to show and share my pictures and experiences with you.

These are my to parrots Candy (the red one, female) and Keks (the green one, male).
They are eclectus parrots (the race is called "Eclectus roratus".

I was thinking of getting one for my little one , how much of care taking does it involve to have them as pets ? is it recommended to get them in pairs ?

It is always a good idea to get them in pairs. Because of they are very intelligent birds they get bored very fast - and bored parrots can be very loud. This is also a good point to pay attention: These parrots can scream very loud, so your neighbourhood has to be broadly-minded :)

I was thinking of keeping them for few months and them set them free , will that work out you think ? or would they be not fit for the wild ?

I don't think that parrots (or animals in general), once domesticated can survive in the nature.
