I posted my first post about a week ago, as an introduction to myself holding a handwritten note on the first day where STEEMIT hit a Market Cap of $100 Million -12/07/2016
Today I took the same picture and I have just checked the Market Gap again. Today it is sitting at $388 Million.
Just think of all the things that happened over the past few weeks
- We saw the launch of Steemit Beta
- We saw the second halving of Bitcoins in history early July (http://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/) Next Halving set for 6 July 2020 :)
- We saw a hacker attack Steemit User Accounts during the past few days (I was one of the comprised accounts and only got my account back today)
- Steemit Accounts are being recovered today
- Early post never gone up much higher than $200 - $300 when trending (1 Week ago)
- Today new posts is earning in excess of $15 000 when trending. (1 Week later)
- Users which adopted STEEMIT as early as 3 months back are constantly earning around $10 000 per week for posting and curating posts.
Where will it stop ?
When you register today, you should still be considered an early adopter. Although I do not believe that you will move up the value chain as much as users who joined around 3 months ago, my opinion is that all of us currently using the platform will be able to make a good living a through hard work, enriching the community and teamwork.
If we look at what @gavvet is doing for promoting new authors in https://steemit.com/addiction/@gavvet/steemit-addict-and-i-can-t-get-my-fix-author-promotion and https://steemit.com/photography/@gavvet/bubbleologists-yes-it-s-a-thing-author-promotion he is growing the author community diversity - This is what I call TEAMWORK.
Can you believe that a kid from Africa which is used to $1 per day is now trending on STEEMIT and his post is standing on just under $15100.
I truly hope that all of us on the network, may experience the same and having a post at the top of the trending list.
Amazing what a week can bring - I ve been here just over 4 days and wow ive seen and learnt a lot in such a short time - so excited to be in the "in crowd" but I really need to start restricting myself as my head buzzes with ideas and end up here for hours!!! - literally
