How I Found Steemit

I first found Steemit through Jeff Berwick on YouTube. I was very skeptical at the time about the legitimacy of this site especially after reading multiple different articles doubting Steemit and it’s potential.

Despite my doubts, I decided to try it anyway and I actually made about 5 dollars in the process. However, that was a couple months ago when I was completely new to cryptocurrencies and when Steemit was fairly uncompetitive.

I took a break to explore other blockchain projects including Synereo, Ethereum, Colony, and Storj. Now I think I have a good enough understanding of digital currencies to continue effectively blogging on Steemit.

What to Expect from Me

On Steemit, I’ll mainly just be talking about whatever I want to write about and to have fun along with interacting with the community and reading up on the interests that other users have.

For content, you may find me talking about Steemit, libertarianism, voluntarism, business, entrepreneurship, cryptocurrencies, sports, travel, minimalism, economics, blockchain projects, and much more.

Why I'm Excited About Steemit

(Or any other blockchain-based social network.)

I look forward to it because I feel like this is the future of social networks. And even if Steemit doesn’t become the next big thing, it will still make a footprint as one of the first to build such a platform. Plus, the concept of Steemit is based around voluntarist free-market principles which is what makes it so exciting for me.

This is just an overview of my interests. In future posts, I'll go more into detail as I tell stories and get more familiar with my followers. I can't wait to get started. Thank you.
