An Introduction Is in Order!

Howdy Steemians! I'm Jason and I'm excited to be part of a community that's not run by a giant corporation that imposes its will upon its users.

What I Bring to the Blockchain

I seek to be creative in many different ways, so here are some of the ways that I am!

Brewing

I'm the head brewer at Outlander Brewing and have been brewing there for about 4 1/2 years.

I started as a homebrewer not too long before that (about 3 months prior) and I'm always happy to field brewing questions. I don't know all the answers (I'm no master brewer by any means), but I do know a couple things!

Music

I'm also a musician that has created in a lot of different genres (under many different projects) over the years. A majority of my works are on Bandcamp, though some are on SoundCloud and my history with the video game music scene is well-documented through my entries in the Dwelling of Duels competition.

I planned to make more of a go of promoting my music through the old channels, but with Facebook and YouTube recently changing their algorithms to make that more difficult, I figured an honest, more alternative approach was in order. I like to experiment with sound, so why not experiment with the way those sounds are shared?

Blogging

I've done some personal development blogging which was recently offlined by DDOS attacks, so I plan to blog here because I have a lot more faith in the blockchain.

Photography

I'm a bit of a nature photographer too (as can be seen on most of my album covers or on my Instagram page - the one mainstream social media site I still like), so I'll likely post a photo every now and again.

Future Works

I'm planning more creative works for 2018, but I moved about a month ago from Seattle, WA to Bothell, WA and I'm still getting settled. Once I do, the creative floodgates will open again and I can't wait to share that creativity with the Steemit community!

Thanks! I'd say your assessment is accurate - I've definitely taken an interest in quite a few different things over the years. And thanks again! I hope that my prolific nature comes to the surface again once I get more settled in my new location. I hope I can keep things interesting for you (and others) - I do have a lot of ideas I want to pursue!
