Most people are often afraid when they are new in any facet or environment, there is always that uncertainty about whether they will do well, if they will fall well, if they feel good, many questions that the mere fact of being the "new" in a place.

In Steemit the concept of being new does not change much, because when they come to this social network as a new user without previous information, many mistakes are made, or as one would say in popular slang, many "hazing" is committed.

Some of the hazing that is discussed in Steemit are:

To think that they are in some other popular social network: This happens when they publish each action they carry out, converting their publications in this way into spam.

The famous "vote by vote": This is something that falls very badly to the "old" Steemit users, who instantly identify the "novices" and prefer to avoid them.

Beg votes in the comments of publications with great value:

This is very common in these large publications with many votes, where there is a large number of new users in the comments asking for votes in their publications, without even understanding that the true essence of this platform is the quality of the publications.

This is just a bit of the many cases that can be observed daily, just ask the old users to have a little patience to those people who have not yet understood the functioning of this wonderful social network, I invite you to guide them to find the better way to take advantage and not just think about the payment.

I do not consider myself an old user, actually as they observe in my profile, I am new, but I can say that I have learned in these weeks the real objective of this community, I have also followed many tips that I have received from good users and that I have read of very good posts.

I did this without encouragement to offend new users, I invite you to continue learning together daily how to coexist and prevail in this site making the most of it.

I would be very grateful if you would comment that another "hazing" has been noticed in Steemit and if you would like some advice for those new users who see this as an opportunity to grow. See you in the next post, GREETINGS !.

PS: As I was told at the beginning, Welcome to the fish tank!
