I'm Jeff, I just turned 24, and for the last two years I've been a freelance filmmaker.
You may have seen some of my work if you love looking at partially built buildings or lower-middle-class real estate listings.
My YouTube Life
I have a YouTube channel called "Near-Life Experience" where I post my adventures, filmmaking and photography tutorials, and other things I really care about that are immediately buried under the constant flood of vine compilations and Jake Paul abortions.

So after 2 years, thousands of dollars, and over 50 videos on YouTube I had worked my way up to an incredible $7 a month in ad revenue! And right before my first $100 payout, YouTube lets me know that they are removing me from the partner program because I don't have enough subscribers. (They're keeping the $100 too...) 
Started from the bottom, and went right back.
Well naturally I was pretty bummed, I know it's not lot of money, but it sure sucks to go from 0, to something, then back to 0. But along comes a great man named @captainbob who filled me in about Dtube.
HOW HAVE I NEVER HEARD OF THIS?!?
I've been mining and trading Cryptocurrency for almost a year and making videos for even longer, how I hadn't even heard about Steemit is beyond me. But I'm here now, and i'm very grateful for that. I'm excited to share the things I create and the things I care about, I hope to find my audience here and to help others do the same.
Besides filmmaking, some of my interests are: traveling, photography, music, sculpting, woodworking, gaming, technology and restoring old motorcycles. If you like my work, have similar interests, or just want to be "Steemit Buddies" Drop a comment below, or follow me if you're ready for that kind of commitment... I've been studying up but I'm super new here so any pointers are appreciated. Also let me know if you have an idea for a video or any questions or requests.

Hey man, I'm in a similar boat here but I'm glad you tried, most don't. I'll give you my opinion even though it's not worth much. I wouldn't "work" as much on my videos. Les editing would make it feel more authentic, something which everyone craves

Love the video you posted here. I'm also here trying to find new outlets that aren't YouTube. I think it's terrible what they did. I'm a singer and have been using YouTube to release music videos, now I don't know where else to go to other than here!
