Hi Steemit!
So here I am, after much procrastination and self-doubt, I have decided to #introducemyself to the Steemit community.
I am from Adelaide, Australia! Very proud to be from this small city and I know there is already a strong Adelaide presence on Steemit. @mattclarke & @o07 are responsible for bringing me here and sparking my interest so I have them to thank.
I recently married my best friend and the love of my life Emily in New York and I will post more about that in the coming days. Here are some shots from the day:
I have many obsessions and interests and I intend on contributing to the community in a wide range of different topics.
I collect sneakers and baseball caps. I sing and love music. I am interested in history and philosophy and what makes us tick as humans.
I am not a "hows the weather" kind of person. When I engage in conversation I want it to mean something and that also applies to Steemit.
I will do my best to post content that will be engaging to the community and I love the idea that I might be able to learn from others and them from me.
In a world where people are placed into categories, I think we should all have the freedom to be many things.
I am excited to express myself through this platform and I hope I am able to make some great friends along the way.

I'm eagerly awaiting the 'Communities' update I keep hearing about.

I'm curious though, do you sing about sneakers and baseball caps or about philosophy? Do you have any plans of putting anything onto DSound?

My favourite sneakers that I own are the Andre Agassi Nike Air Tech Challenge II "Kumquat" edition. They are quite rare and nobody really talks about them at all.
I love the Nike Air Tech Challenge Bo Jackson range also.
